We have a depth and breadth of OB/GYN experiences at Swedish that are unmatched in the region. With the highest surgical volume and nearly 8,000 deliveries at First Hill alone, the experiences for resident training are endless. In addition to sheer volume, we have a heterogeneous and rich patient population to support training outstanding obstetricians and surgeons. We have a collaborative educational experience, with inclusion of our colleagues and residents in other specialities, including family practice and addiction medicine. In additional to all of the recognized subspecialties, we are home to the following unique programs which will be available to trainees:
- Strong and experienced MIGS faculty
- Menopause/Vulvovaginal specialty clinic
- LGBTQIA initiate and gender care
- Perinatal psychiatry service
- Addiction recovery program for pregnancy
- Strong family planning experience
